- New Legislation Effective Date: The Act amending the Goods and Services Tax Act and introducing the National e-Invoicing System (KSeF) was published on September 1, 2025, and mandates the use of KSeF for invoicing in Poland.
- Implementation Timeline: The obligation to issue invoices through KSeF will be phased in: starting February 1, 2026, for large taxpayers with sales exceeding PLN 200 million; from April 1, 2026, for other entrepreneurs and local government units; and from January 1, 2027, for small entrepreneurs with monthly sales not exceeding PLN 10,000.
- Preparation Required: All entrepreneurs must collect invoices in KSeF starting February 1, 2026, necessitating timely adjustments to systems, processes, internal procedures, and contracts to ensure compliance with the new regulations. Preparation should begin as soon as possible to accommodate these changes.
