  • Austria is now a participating and approving member state in the Central Customs Clearance Export process as of July 28, 2025.
  • Austria can participate in electronic message exchange between export and presentation customs offices.
  • Previously, only Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Slovenia, and Bulgaria had the technical capabilities for CCE.
  • Notification was sent via email to all Clearing Centers and published on the customs website on July 25, 2025.
  • In Central Customs Clearance Export, the export declaration is made at the export customs office designated as the central authority.
  • Goods are presented at approved locations in another member state, separating the place of declaration and presentation.
