Vietnam’s Resolution No. 204/2025/QH15 reduces the VAT rate from 10% to 8% for selected goods and services, effective July 1, 2025, through December 31, 2026.

The 2% VAT reduction excludes goods and services already subject to 0% or 5% VAT, including e-commerce services supplied by nonresidents without a permanent establishment to Vietnamese entities or individuals.
