Saudi Arabia extended its tax penalty relief initiative from 1 July to 31 December 2025, waiving fines for late registration, filing, payment, and certain VAT and e-invoicing violations.
-
To qualify, taxpayers must register, file all outstanding returns, and fully pay the principal tax debt. Instalment plans are available if requested and honored within the initiative period.
-
The relief does not apply to tax evasion penalties, previously paid fines, or returns due after 30 June 2025. ZATCA has published a detailed guideline outlining eligibility and application procedures.
