The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has launched a system enabling VAT-registered manufacturers to file returns directly from their ERP software by integrating with the iVAS platform, eliminating manual re-entry and enhancing automation.
-
Two companies, Seven Rings Cement and Siam Bangla Cement, are piloting this integration, allowing instant, automated VAT return submission, reducing compliance time, labor, and system overload during peak filing periods.
-
The NBR developed this in-house solution to improve tax administration efficiency, with plans to expand the system nationwide, aiming to boost transparency, accountability, and lower compliance costs for businesses.
