E-Invoicing seminar engages Japanese business community in Auckland

  • Event Overview: On May 15, 2025, MBIE, in collaboration with the Japan Peppol Authority and the Japanese Consulate-General, hosted an eInvoicing seminar in Auckland to educate the Japanese business community in New Zealand.
  • Participation and Presentations: Approximately 30 representatives from Japanese companies attended, with presentations by Hiroyuki Kato and Alan Carnaby on eInvoicing updates, government initiatives, and interactive discussions on its benefits.
  • eInvoicing Adoption: As of April 2025, over 51,000 New Zealand businesses are registered for eInvoicing, with significant growth reflecting advantages like faster payments and improved accuracy, fostering international collaboration in digital invoicing solutions.
