- The Ministry of Finance has introduced two draft regulations on cash registers, allowing for the issuance of fiscal receipts in electronic form (e-receipts) with customer consent, in line with recent amendments to the VAT Act.
- Under the new regulations, sellers must issue fiscal receipts for each sale instead of invoices from cash registers, as cash register invoices will no longer be recognized as valid invoices.
- Taxpayers can choose to issue either paper or electronic receipts after agreeing with the purchaser on the preferred method of transmission, utilizing the “receipt HUB” system as an intermediary without sharing personal data.
