- Starting from 27 May 2025, the Tax and Customs Administration will implement an automated check for VAT returns based on the submission date, accepting returns only from the 24th of the month in which the reporting period ends.
- VAT returns submitted before the 24th will be automatically rejected, and the submitter will receive an error message, indicating that the return has not been formally received.
- Submitters must resubmit their VAT returns from the 24th of the relevant month, as early submissions require manual processing, which is time-consuming for the Tax and Customs Administration.
