- The due dates for filing the March Monthly Sales and Use Tax Return and the 2025-2026 Volume of Business Declaration in Puerto Rico have been extended to April 28, 2025, due to a recent power outage.
- Taxpayers who make payments with their Volume of Business Declaration or request an extension by April 28, 2025, will receive a 5% discount on their payments.
- The extension applies to both the state and municipal portions of the sales and use tax, and electronic filing platforms have been updated to reflect the new deadlines.
