The Trump Administration has issued the United States – Italy Joint Leaders Statement, following the first official meeting between U.S. President Donald J. Trump and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. The statement notably says “We agreed that a non-discriminatory environment in terms of digital services taxation is necessary to enable investments from cutting-edge tech companies.”
