Topic: Viva la ViDA and beyond
After nearly two years of discussion the ViDA package was adopted ‘in principle’ late last year and will start to take effect, in part at least, this year. The package represents the biggest change to the EU’s VAT system since 1993 and will impact businesses in all sectors and of all sizes. However, the EU will not stop there, work is ongoing now to consider what the EU’s VAT system will look like after ViDA.
