- Revised Implementation Timelines: The Ministry of Finance has set new dates for the KSeF e-invoicing mandate: February 1, 2026, for large taxpayers with sales over 200 million PLN in 2024, April 1, 2026, for other taxpayers, and January 1, 2027, for “digitally excluded” taxpayers with specific sales limits.
- Technical Documentation and Features: Key technical developments include the release of KSeF 2.0 documentation in June 2025, open API testing in September 2025, and the launch of the production version of the KSeF App 2.0 in February 2026. A new “offline24 mode” will allow invoices to be issued outside of KSeF with a submission deadline of one working day.
- New Functionalities and Compliance Measures: The updated KSeF will feature a unified QR code for invoices, the ability to issue structured attachments, and the introduction of invoice issuer certificates starting November 1, 2025. Additionally, several compliance obligations and penalties have been postponed until December 31, 2025, to provide businesses with additional preparation time.
