The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) has issued the updated list of value-added tax (VAT)-exempt medicines for various diseases such as diabetes and hypertension.
The circular covered the inclusion of certain medicines for hypertension, mental illness, diabetes and high cholesterol.
