The Central Statistical Office is working on changing the Polish Classification of Products and Services (PKWiU). The initial project of the PKWiU 2025 structure is to be ready in the second quarter of this year, while the regulation should be adopted by the Council of Ministers no later than December 2025. Experts point out that the PKWiU classification is of key importance for, among other things, the correct settlement of VAT and flat-rate tax on recorded revenues. The effect may be a change in tax rates, but entrepreneurs are also counting on a simplification in the flat-rate tax.
