- Establishment of Peppol Authority: France will establish its own Peppol Authority in the coming months, marking a significant milestone in the development of the French CTC (Continuous Transaction Control) mandate, with OpenPeppol serving as the interim authority until then.
- Role and Responsibilities: The Peppol Authority will oversee the implementation and operation of the Peppol network in France, including accrediting access points and service providers, ensuring adherence to Peppol standards, and providing support to businesses and the public sector.
- Proof of Concept Success: OpenPeppol, along with FNFE and GENA, has successfully conducted a Proof of Concept (PoC) over the past two years, testing the Peppol network’s alignment with the French mandate, with results from the PoC set to inform the technical development of Peppol in France.
