- Activation of e-CMR: The Greek Ministry of Economy and Finance and AADE have launched the electronic delivery note on the myDATA platform to enhance the monitoring of goods shipments, providing real-time tracking of product origins and destinations for both national and international shipments.
- Benefits of e-CMR: The new electronic transport document (e-CMR) improves transparency and security in logistics, enabling precise real-time monitoring of shipments while reducing paperwork, handling costs, administrative delays, and discrepancies during delivery.
- Implementation Phases: The rollout will occur in phases, starting with companies with gross revenues over €200,000 and specific industries (e.g., energy, pharmaceuticals) by April 1, 2025. Other companies will follow by October 1, 2025, with the first phase focusing on basic shipping document functions.
- Exceptions to Digital Control: Certain entities are exempt from the e-CMR requirements, including farmers under the special VAT regime, occasional sellers, and specific goods transported through continuous flow networks, among others.
