- Beginning January 2025, all VAT transactions in Liechtenstein, including registrations, statements, and communications, must be processed through the new eMWST portal, in compliance with the E-Government Act.
- The previous electronic submission method will be discontinued, and existing lilog accounts will no longer be valid; paper submissions will only be accepted until December 30, 2024.
- To use the eMWST portal, users must first obtain an eID.li for secure identification, activate an eVertretung account for electronic services, and register to access the portal, which will facilitate all relevant VAT transactions at no cost.
