- The Council Decision (EU) 2024/2888, published on November 19, 2024, approves an amendment to the VAT administrative cooperation agreement with Norway, signed on October 2, 2024.
- This amendment aims to strengthen efforts against international VAT fraud by improving information exchange, control cooperation, and assistance in collecting VAT claims between the EU and Norway.
- The amended agreement will come into effect on the first day of the second month after both parties have completed the necessary internal legal procedures and notified each other.
