The measures contained in the Vat in the Digital Age (ViDA) proposal introduce new rules for businesses supplying cross-border transactions and platform companies. Most suppliers will have to change their invoicing and VAT reporting processes and new obligations and liabilities for platforms that facilitate supplies will be introduced.
