The draft amendment to the Penal Code presented by the Ministry of Justice breaks with the tightening of liability for crimes in relation to the most valuable property. However, this does not apply to VAT crimes, for which the penalty will still be a minimum of five years of imprisonment. The drafter also wants to tighten the penalties for obstructing tenders.
