- The German Ministry of Finance released the final version of the e-invoicing mandate letter, initially shared as a draft to raise awareness and guide taxpayers.
- Officially published on October 15, 2024, the final letter includes clarifications such as mandatory storage of relevant hybrid invoice images and that a separate electronic mailbox for e-invoices is not required.
- The letter now references Peppol BIS as an acceptable European invoice format, replacing the Italian format FatturaPA.
