On 18 September 2024, ZUGFeRD version 2.3 was released. The ZUGFeRD format is a hybrid e-invoice format developed by FeRD (the German Electronic Invoice Forum) with FNFE-MPE’s (the French Electronic Invoice Forum) cooperation.
The release of version 2.3 enables interoperability with the French B2B e-invoicing mandate by adding elements to the EXTENDED profile.
It is important that users of ZUGFeRD EXTENDED update to the new version, as rounding inaccuracies are now permitted, which has not been allowed in previous versions.
