- The Ministry of Finance of Latvia announced support for mandatory e-invoicing after public consultation, with timelines reconfirmed for both public and private sectors.
- E-invoicing will be mandatory for the G2G and B2G sectors starting January 1, 2025, and for the B2B sector starting January 1, 2026, with obligatory e-invoice data submission to the State Revenue Service.
- The draft law, pending final approval by the Saeima, excludes B2C invoices from the mandate and plans to develop regulations for e-invoice distribution channels.
