- Launch of E-Invoicing System: On September 5, 2024, the DRC General Directorate of Taxes launched the first phase of its e-invoicing system, Facture Normalisee, using electronic fiscal devices.
- Targeted Implementation: The initial phase targets selected companies based on predefined criteria, with two types of approved devices: “e-UF” for companies without billing software and “e-MCF” for those with such software.
- Preparation and Training: Early September saw training courses for selected large and medium enterprises in preparation for the system’s implementation. Expansion details for other taxpayer groups are yet to be announced.
