The Ministry of Finance wants to increase the VAT rate on hemp products from 8% to 23%. This applies to hemp for smoking or inhaling without combustion. The rate for “medical marijuana” is still to be 8%. It is also planned to abolish the obligation to integrate cash registers with payment terminals in favor of substitute data reporting. The Ministry of Finance also wants to introduce changes to the excise tax act, including the possibility of refunding excise tax on passenger cars temporarily registered in the country for the purpose of exporting them abroad.
