The government adopted a draft amendment to the VAT Act on Tuesday, which aligns Polish regulations with EU law. Small businesses will benefit from VAT exemptions in other EU countries. The condition will be registration in the country where the business is headquartered and quarterly reporting on turnover achieved in each EU member state. The VAT exemption limit will not change and will continue to be PLN 200,000.
