Israel’s Tax Authority (ITA) has launched a new version of its technical specifications for e-invoicing, outlining the clearance CTC model taxpayers must follow to claim VAT deductions on cleared invoices. Taxpayers are required to implement the new guidelines by January 1, 2025. Key changes include new JSON file lines, updated and new web services, and two new document types requiring an Allocation Number. The pilot period will end on January 1, 2025, after which the ITA will begin enforcing technical validations on all received JSON files. Comarch’s e-invoicing solution can help Israeli companies stay compliant with the new and upcoming changes.
