MyData is Greece’s national platform for electronic VAT reports and B2B/B2G invoices. All companies in Greece must submit their accounting data to MyData, which validates the documents and assigns unique identifiers. Starting 2024, PDF documents must include a QR code. Greece has requested an exception to implement mandatory B2B e-invoicing, which would expand MyData’s functionality in 2024. B2B e-invoices must be submitted to MyData to receive a unique identifier before being delivered to the customer. Greece has also announced mandatory B2G e-invoicing, effective five months after the April 2023 law.
