The Israel Tax Authority (ITA) has released version 2.0 of its technical specifications, detailing the clearance CTC model that taxpayers must follow to enable their buyers to deduct VAT from cleared invoices. Taxpayers must implement the updated requirements by 1 January 2025. Key updates include new JSON file lines, updated and new web services, and two new document types requiring an Allocation Number. 1 January 2025 also marks the end of the pilot period, after which the ITA will begin applying technical validations to each received JSON file.
