GSTN issued Advisory No. 502 on July 09, 2024, increasing the size of document uploads for Principal Place of Business and Additional Place of Business for New Registration and Amendment. The maximum size for document uploads has been increased to 500 KB for documents such as Municipal Khata Copy, Electricity Bill, Consent Letter, and Property Tax Receipt in JPEG/PDF format. This change was made in response to grievances from the trade.
