New Jersey approved Assembly Bill 4702 to phase out the sales and use tax exemption for zero emission vehicles. From October 2024 to June 2025, a reduced tax rate of 3.3125% will apply, and from July 1, 2025, the standard tax rate of 6.625% will apply.
