- The Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (LHDN) has released new guidelines and a Software Development Kit (SDK) for the implementation of its Continuous Transaction Control (CTC) e-invoicing model, MyInvois.
- The MyInvois model requires sales invoices in XML format to be sent to the tax authorities for verification through the government’s API.
- The rollout of the MyInvois system will be conducted in phases, starting from August 1, 2024, for taxpayers with an annual turnover above MYR 100 million. It will then be expanded to taxpayers with lower turnovers in subsequent phases, with all taxpayers required to comply by July 1, 2025.
