The CBIC has released a Handbook of GST Law and Procedures for Departmental Officers, aiming to help officers understand and implement GST laws. The Handbook covers important aspects of the CGST Act, 2017, and IGST Act, 2017, and provides a ‘how to’ guide in 14 chapters. It is designed to enhance officers’ efficiency and is not legally binding.
