- The new Bookkeeping Act in Denmark requires the digitization of all accounting processes, including invoicing, with the first phase taking effect on July 1, 2024.
- The Act mandates the use of certified digital bookkeeping software or custom-developed solutions compliant with the law. B2B e-invoicing will also become mandatory, formatted as Peppol BIS 3.0 or the local OIOUBL format.
- The subsequent phases will apply to different types of companies in the following years. Small companies are not included in the scope of the Act.
