Romania has introduced the RO e-Transport system to monitor road transport of goods within the country and internationally. The system applies to all international goods transport starting from July 1, 2024, and covers various types of goods. Companies must register each transport in the system through the Romanian Tax Authorities portal to receive a unique UIT code.
