The European Commission’s eDelivery Building Block is evolving, with the next-generation eDelivery 2.0 specifications being developed. The 2.0 draft specifications underwent substantial revisions following a public consultation in 2023, leading to the release of second drafts for the AS4, SMP, BDXL, and ebCore Party Id profiles in 2024. These drafts were presented at the Interoperability Forum and released for public consultation. Interoperability Events in June 2024 brought together solution providers to test their implementations against the latest draft specifications.
