Belarus has published Resolution No. 408 of 5 June 2024 in the Official Gazette, which provides for the implementation of the VAT exemption on the import of certain imported technical equipment, components, and spare parts that was introduced by Presidential Decree No. 77 of 4 March 2024. As previously reported, The exemption is available in respect of technical equipment, components, and spare parts included in a list approved by the Council of Ministers that are not produced in Belarus. This list is provided by Resolution No. 408, which contains a variety of products ranging from grinding stones to parts for nuclear reactors. Resolution No. 408 came into force on 7 June 2024.
