New research shows that digital tools like e-invoicing are set to boost productivity and competitiveness for Europe’s SMEs. The EU aims to be digital, green, and competitive, with a focus on getting 90% of SMEs to a basic level of digital intensity. The success of the EU’s Digital Decade goals depends on collaboration between governments and the tech sector. The ViDA package is expected to standardize cross-border e-invoicing, which is crucial for the Digital Decade goals. E-invoicing has been proven to be a gateway to broader adoption of digital technology.
