- The Polish Parliament has approved the Act of 23 May 2024, which implements new rules on the exchange of information on income generated by sellers through digital platforms (DAC7).
- DAC7 is a Council Directive adopted to address issues related to unreported income and unpaid taxes resulting from the use of digital platforms operating across multiple countries.
- The Act requires digital platform operators to report sellers’ income and mandates automatic information exchange among EU Member States. It is awaiting presidential approval and publication in the Official Gazette, with most provisions set to take effect on 1 July 2024.
