The US is gradually shifting towards e-invoicing to reduce costs and improve efficiency by sending and receiving electronic invoices. However, achieving e-invoicing compliance can be complex, especially for organizations using ERP systems. ERP Integration services can help businesses achieve e-invoicing compliance in the US. The country has taken steps to promote electronic invoicing, including the implementation of the Federal Financial Management Improvement Act in 1996 and the Office of Management and Budget’s e-invoicing mandate in 2015. The Business Payment Coalition was also established to promote electronic invoicing between businesses, and a Market Pilot was launched to test the viability of a business-to-business e-invoicing system in the USA.
