- The Spanish Tax Administration hinted at a potential postponement of the implementation of Spanish E-Invoicing during the Annual SAP Users Convention in Spain.
- Two separate initiatives are being advanced in Spain: “Verifactu” for smaller enterprises and mandatory adoption of e-invoicing in all B2B transactions.
- The technical specifications for both initiatives, as well as the regulation and Ministerial Order, are still pending, making the original mid-2025 implementation timeline difficult to achieve. The implementation may be deferred to early 2026.
