The government has extended the 0% VAT rate for essential products until 30th of June 2024 to reduce the burden on families and individuals. The essential products covered by this extension include bread, milk, eggs, baby food, baby diapers, feminine hygiene products, adult diapers, coffee (excluding ready-made drinks), sugar, and fresh or chilled meat and vegetables. This initiative aims to support households during challenging times and provides an opportunity for businesses and consumers to benefit from reduced costs. Stay tuned for updates and feel free to reach out if you have any questions about the VAT extension.
