- The Norwegian Tax Administration, Skatteetaten, has released SAF-T Financial version 1.30. The new version will be effective from 1st January 2025 but can be used immediately if desired. The old form (version 1.20) can still be used for previous years (2024 and earlier).
- Key changes in SAF-T Financial version 1.30 include the removal of the mapping option from the standard chart of accounts in General Ledger accounts master file, changes in the structure of customers and suppliers master files, and the introduction of three new elements to General Ledger Entries.
- For more details on the changes, visit the SAF-T Financial page on the Norwegian Tax Administration’s website.
- Software options to comply with Norwegian SAF-T requirements are available through SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA. However, companies may need to consider alternative solutions if they need to complete specific actions such as consolidating data from multiple source systems, submitting SAF-T Cash Register files, or collecting data from custom tables and fields.
