On April 30, 2024, the Polish government approved a draft bill to postpone the implementation of the KSeF e-invoicing system obligation from July 2024. The delay was due to insufficient development of the system, according to the newly elected government. The Ministry plans to include updates from recent public consultations in the law, including a two-staged obligation introduction: February 1, 2026, for companies with gross yearly revenue exceeding 200 million PLN, and April 1, 2026, for all remaining businesses. The Minister of Finance, Andrzej Domański, announced this timeline during a press briefing on April 30. More updates to the KSeF e-invoicing system are expected in the coming months.
