The Advocate General opinion in Digital Charging Solutions tries to argue why the unpopular judgments Auto Lease Holland and Vega International are supposed to be inapplicable in the EV context, but ultimately reaches the same conclusion as the case-law. The opinion also differs with regard to the need for an agency-mandate, finding that there is no such requirement, which is a dangerous view in my opinion.
