- An external audit of the National e-Invoice System (KSeF) in Poland has revealed critical flaws in its implementation, prompting a delay in its mandatory launch.
- The implementation of KSeF will now be phased, with businesses exceeding PLN 200 million in sales value required to adopt it from February 1, 2026, and others from April 1, 2026.
- The audit identified issues such as poorly designed IT architecture, management errors, and lack of transparent documentation. The Ministry of Finance plans to rebuild the system architecture from scratch to ensure reliability and functionality.
- The Ministry has conducted consultation meetings with stakeholders and will introduce legislative changes in two stages to address the rescheduling of KSeF implementation and associated penalties. Training and support activities for entrepreneurs will be adjusted accordingly, including employee training, individual consultations, a tax information hotline, and an information campaign.
