Georgia proposes repeal of sales and use tax exemptions effective in 2029

The Georgia House and Senate passed H.B. 1181, which aims to repeal several sales and use tax exemptions, including those for aircraft engine remanufacturing, air and water pollution reduction equipment, telecommunications manufacturing, and mobility enhancing equipment. If enacted, these exemptions will no longer be available after December 31, 2029.
