- The Latvian Ministry of Finance has proposed a strategy to combat the black market economy, including the implementation of a mandatory e-invoicing system for B2B transactions.
- The strategy aims to simplify the invoicing process and promote efficient management and exchange of e-invoices. It will also include real-time reporting capabilities to improve VAT payment oversight. The government aims to have the system fully operational by December 30, 2025.
