- Growth Opportunities Act and E-Invoicing:
- The Mediation Committee of the Upper House and the German Parliament discussed the implementation of the Growth Opportunities Act, which includes provisions related to e-invoicing in Germany.
- As of now, the proposed legislation has not been approved, but further discussions are scheduled for March 22, 2024.
- E-Invoicing Timeline:

- Starting from January 1, 2025, it will be mandatory for businesses in Germany to accept invoices electronically. E-invoicing will become the standard method.
- Specifically for domestic B2B sales, e-invoicing will be compulsory for all German-established companies with an annual turnover exceeding EUR 800,000 beginning on January 1, 2027.
