The Philipines Department of Finance (DOF) initiated a series of stakeholder briefings starting February 29, 2024, to garner support for its refined priority tax measures aimed at immediate passage. Among the key measures are Value-added Tax (VAT) on Digital Service Providers, Excise Tax on Single-use Plastics, Package 4 of the Comprehensive Tax Reform Program, Streamlining the Mining Fiscal Framework and Overhauling the Motor Vehicle Users’ Charge.
